The results of the annual Today's Golfer Awards have been annouced and the Stewart Golf X3R is officially the Best Trolley on the market. This award is voted for by the readers of Today's Golfer, as opposed to the editorial staff of the magazine.
Over the last three years, Stewart Golf have continually invested in the product and introduced a number of improvements.
The most significant of these is the NASA-derived 'V2' electronics system which provides speed sensitive steering and almost total protection from outside interference.

The Stewart Golf Tour Bag has a full bag shape that makes it extremely compatible with the X3R . The bag comes with a nine-inch, 14-way fabric organizer and full-length fabric dividers. The top is divided into four levels to help keep the bag organized and golf clubs protected. The large rear pocket, which is accessible from both sides of the bag, has 10 other storage pockets, including a fur lined valuables pocket. The Tour Bag also features tee holders and a special-insulated bottle holder to keep drinks cool. The bag's tough fabric is complemented by silver embroidery of the stylish Stewart Golf logo.

The X3 is a natural evolution of the X1. The X1 was designed to transform the way that powered golf trolleys are perceived. Since it's launch in 2003, it has done just that. As well as turning heads and attracting attention, it has also delighted its users. Over 98% of customers said that they would recommend the X1 to a friend.
The X3 powered trolley is available in two forms, manually and fully remotely controlled. The structure, chassis and awesome aesthetics are shared between both models. Designed primarily as a remote controlled trolley, both X3 models benefit from class leading stability (according to Today's Golfer Magazine).

When you play golf you have one primary purpose: hit the golf ball. Although the X3 is a beautiful machine, it is designed to perform on the golf course first. The stable wheelbase and anti-tip chassis (new for the X3) mean that you can take your X3 almost anywhere on the golf course.
As standard there is a removable scorecard holder (with a place for your pencil) and a purpose designed ball and tee holder. This means that you don't have to search through your bag every time you need a new ball or tee, and also you don't have an annoying pencil or card in your pocket.

The exclusive 5 spoke quick release wheels are supplied with a soft compound tyre. This increases grip on the course, reducing wheel spin and protecting the fairway. New for the X3, the front wheels also now use a specially developed soft compound which make the trolley almost silent even on hard paths.
In the unlikely event of your battery going flat, the wheels have a 'free-wheel' position so that you can always finish your round easily. The elegant quick release mechanism is designed so that it is easy for you to use, even when your hands are cold.
Despite achieving near perfect scores for engineering and build quality in numerous magazine tests, our engineers have spent the last 2 years improving several key areas.
The X3 benefits from an all new chassis, which is both stronger and lighter than its predecessor. New 'soft' front wheels make the X3 almost silent even on hard paths, while revised hardware and software mean that the X3 can consistently deliver more power and the X3R has smoother steering. Additionally the X3 has been made more robust in other key areas.

The X3 Remote is packed with 'useful' technology which is there to help you.
The reliable solid state microprocessor driven electronics system has 65,000 unique codes, ensuring that no other handset will control your X3R. The hand controller transmits a 'stay awake' signal to the X3R every few seconds. This means that your X3R can never run too far away from you. Your X3R will be factory set to travel in a straight line. However it is possible that after some use the trim may require adjustment. This can be easily performed electronically from the X3R handset.

 1980's: The seeds of the company were sown when Roy Stewart retired and took up golf. Roy, an aerospace engineer by trade, started playing golf and he immediately started thinking of ways that things could be done better. Initial designs were sketched and thought through, but never developed. Roy's retirement was the priority, and Ross Stewart, his son, was busy with his own company which was growing rapidly.
10/2003: After over three years of investment and hard work, Stewart Golf releases its first product, the X1.
10/2003: Public reaction is nothing short of phenomenal. The X1 attracts attention from both local and national press and TV. Appearances in British and European magazines follow
12/2003: Investment continues with the renovation of a workshop area, doubling Stewart Golf's production capacity.

Just in front of the battery enclosure lies the heart of the X1: the microprocessor controlled electronics system. If your X1 should suffer a fault, there are four diagnostic lights on the electronics box which are there to help you and us.

This light will remain on all of the time that the battery is connected.

The X1 has been designed so that there is as little for you to maintain as possible. Aside from ensuring that your battery is fully charged, the only maintenance that is required is to ensure that axles are free to rotate unobstructed.
We recommend that you keep your X1 clean by wiping any dust or dirt off with a soft or damp cloth.

The X1R will complete 18 holes on even the hilliest course, while the X1M will complete up to 36 holes on a single charge. The length of time that your battery will last depends on a number of things. These can include the weight of your bag, the amount you let the caddy 'pull' you up hills, the amount of turns (X1R only) performed and the condition of your battery.
